Jeevan Revaneppa Hiretanad is a skilled DSP Software Engineer currently working at Pathpartner Technology. He is pursuing a BTech Degree from IIIT Dharwad and is interested in Embedded systems, machine learning, and IoT. With a relevant experience of 0.86 years, Jeevan has worked on several projects related to Speech Processing, ASR, TTS, C, Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, IoT, Embedded System, Computer Vision, Arduino IDE, LtSpice, Matlab, Analog, and DSP. Jeevan is a curious person who enjoys learning new things and technology, and continuously updates his knowledge. He has a good analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills. He has knowledge of both hardware and software and is always ready to start from scratch and learn from peers. Currently, Jeevan is working on the Speech module for Humanoid, a funded project. He has built a wav2vec model for recognizing Hindi speech with WER 8.39 for the model and deployed it using FLASK. He has also built a Tactotron-Parallelwavegan based Hindi TTS model, the generated voice from the model is similar to the human voice. Jeevan has built a pipeline that takes Hindi audio input and converts it into Hindi text, further the Hindi is converted into English, and finally the English is spoken out. He has successfully ported the module onto raspberry pi, and now he is working on improving the accuracy of the module. In the past, Jeevan has worked as a Speech Intern at Sama Nextgen Pte Limited and as a Data Science Intern at Technocolabs. He has a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from IIIT Dharwad. Jeevan is looking to work in an environment that will give him more knowledge and work experiences.
